Never lose a router config again.
NetKeeper backs up every router and OLT on your network over SSH and Telnet, keeps every snapshot, and lets your team diff and search them in seconds. No scripts to write, no cron jobs to babysit.
- ✓ OLT-North-01 snapshot captured 1,842 lines
- ✓ SW-Core-02 snapshot captured 614 lines
- ✓ RTR-Edge-03 snapshot captured 398 lines
- … 214 more devices backed up in today's cycle
One platform for your whole device fleet
Connect your devices once. NetKeeper captures their configuration on schedule and keeps every version ready to compare and search.
How it works
From your first device to a searchable history of every config you've ever run, in four steps.
- 01
Add your devices
Register a router or OLT with its SSH or Telnet credentials, vendor, and type. Credentials are encrypted before they're stored.
- 02
Backups run automatically
Every enabled device is backed up once a day. You can also trigger a single device, or a whole cycle, whenever you want.
- 03
Snapshots are stored & indexed
Each successful backup is stored securely and indexed for instant search across your whole fleet.
- 04
Diff, search, and move on
Compare any two backups line by line, or search a string across every stored snapshot from every device, in seconds.
Speaks your gear's language
Native drivers for the vendors ISPs actually run, over SSH or Telnet, whichever the device supports. Running something else? We build the driver for it.
New vendors are implemented on request. If your device speaks SSH or Telnet, we can support it.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get started with NetKeeper?
Talk to us and we'll help you connect your first devices and run your first backup cycle, usually the same day. Nothing gets installed on the devices themselves.
How often does NetKeeper back up my devices?
A backup cycle runs automatically once a day and triggers one backup for every enabled device. You can also trigger a single device or a full cycle on demand whenever you need a fresh capture.
Which devices are supported?
Huawei OLTs, Huawei VRP routers and switches, MikroTik RouterOS, and Datacom DmOS switches today, over SSH or Telnet. If your vendor isn't on that list, we implement the driver for it: send us the vendor and model you run and we'll take it from there.
How is my data protected?
Device credentials are encrypted at rest and only decrypted in memory for the moment a backup runs. Every stored configuration snapshot is encrypted and indexed for search, never left sitting in plaintext.
Can I self-host NetKeeper?
Yes. NetKeeper can run entirely on your own infrastructure if you'd rather not use a managed deployment. Ask about self-hosting when you get in touch.
What happens if a backup fails?
Failed backups are recorded too. The attempt, its timestamps, and the failure reason all land in the audit log, so you can see exactly what happened and retry.
